Ahem - CP are into financial services of the deal making variety (in competition with Barclays no less) and IT consulting and implementation (they were one of the first to use Exchequer over the Internet) so I'm wondering what they're going to morph into next. But yes, they remain a firm of CA's at heart. But let's not get too critical. They are the David in this match with Goliath. All plaudits duly acknowledged with gratitude.

So here we go. Firstly,in my opinion, it's a crap slogan. Why anybody should fight over it is beyond me. Secondly, large though Barclays Bank is - and it is LARGE!- at least the name tells you what they do (and don't do at times). What do Cooper Parry do? And yes I had a look at their website and was still none the wiser.Then I looked at the ICAEW site out of curiosity- and lo! Cooper Parry are chartered accountants. Another firm ashamed of its membership of the august body? Why I wonder? Have they been unduly influenced by the marketer - the same one that got them into a spat with Barclays. Dunno. Honest.
