An engineer's view of startups

Who would have thought an engineer could offer sensible advice about startups? Peter Cochrane is and does. Check out the simple yet scientific approach he takes.

I’ve met Peter though it was some years ago when he headed up BTs advanced technologies group. Like all successful people I’ve ever known, he understands his subject matter soup to nuts, A-Z and then some. He’s also a brilliant communicator. If you ever get the opportunity to attend one of his speaking engagements, I’d urge you to go. Unlike so many of the so-called business gurus (including the incredibly eccentric Edward DeBono), Peter is genuinely inspiring.

Peter's diagram of the key factors is excellent - a real eye opener!
