The support team have been very helpful and the monthly cost is no big deal. It's never good news when things go wrong, but go wrong they do. As yet I have never had a problem (some of us sleep at night Dennis!). The key thing for me is that my blog is not mission critical so I can afford to be reasonably relaxed. If I make a comparison, most SME’s do not have great IT systems and I suspect Typepad’s application downtime of 7 hours in 5 months is significantly better than most SME’s actually achieved. I would certainly think their backups are better maintained. That said my Blog expectations are rising and if I'm not happy in the future I'll stop the monthly payment and move elsewhere.
