Stuart Jones has gig with Westmoreland Gazette

in General

Chartered accountant Stuart Jones has a gig with the Westmoreland Gazette. They are in effect syndicating his material to their readers. This gives Stuart tremendous exposure for the issues over which he is passionate. Stuart’s secret? He champions business in the Lake District and refuses to let organisations like Cumbria Vision off the hook.

Congratulations Stuart – you are the new accounting practice media in action.

Another example of how technology is allowing the smaller business and its’ advisors to add real value.

Good on Stuart, it may not result in the dull image of the accountant being shrugged off, but it will show that we are (some of us anyway) at the forefront of new technologies.

My main aim is to dispel that every accountant is cast from the same die.

That dates me doesn't it? An engineering term (?) in english. Didn't think we had any engineers left.

Matters not – the fact is you're out there raising legitimate questions at your own site that a regional title considers worthy of inclusion as part of their overall presence. If other firms is different parts of the country did the same thing, think how their perception would be changed. To me this presents incredibly exciting long term opportunities.

It has to be said Stuart, that after listening to Dennis and his blogging ‘guru’ rhetoric, and now seeing your success I have been moved to blog. My wife always says I have a lot to say for myself, so I guess now I will inflict it onto the rest of the world (wife was just a way of honing my skills!).
