Tax justice maven Richard Murphy has kicked off a blog (at last.) Juicy stuff in there about VAT abuse in Jersey. Despite saying they’re cleaning up their act, it’s easy to see why our very own tax haven retains its reviled status among certain EU states.
Richard gets a mention in a piece run by Alex Hawkes where the profession is moaning about proposed new penalties for unreasonable avoidance schemes.
Definitely one to follow if you’re in the tax mitigation game.
