Following on from Jeff Nolan setting up Enterprise at Crispy News, I did the same for stuff around our profession and gave it the title Accountants At Large. Essentially it’s a way of aggregating content from different places that readers can vote upon to decide which are the most popular posts.
I’ve posted a handful of what I think are interesting articles from around the Internet. You can register and post content you find or you can simply comment. Commenting helps raise the ‘value’ of posts. The links take you to the original article and there is a bookmarklet available so you can easily pop items up from wherever you are on the Web without having to first launch the site.
What makes Crispy News interesting to me is the fact I don’t have to worry about whether a site has an RSS feed because I can get summaries through my RSS reader.
I’d recommend giving it a try. You can consider it a community resource so pretty much anything goes. All I’d ask is keep it relevant, keep it interesting.
