Do you Wikipedia or are you a Refusenik?

August 30, 2006 General

A few days ago, a bunch of us were mulling over the decision to reject Enterprise 2.0 as a Wikipedia entry…. But…while still being considered for deletion, it’s also being considered for merging with Web 2.0, which itself is slated for possible deletion.

More on Office 2.0 or…what's in a name?

August 23, 2006 Humour

There isn’t Back in the day I would have put my practice name or, more recently the name of the research company I worked with…. Being a person of limited imagination – (hey, I crunch numbers, what do you want, blood?), I couldn’t think of anything in particular until one day it struck me: consultants, day rates, pontificating, presumed expertise…

Customer reference – Winweb

August 23, 2006 Cloud Computing/SaaS

Have used the “Live Support” once – seems like a great idea and I got connected quickly but it seemed to hang (either that or the tech was looking into my query for a *really* long time) – I actually solved the problem myself whilst waiting for him…. I spoke on the phone to Winweb who told me it was coming and that we would be able to post daily sales figures through the API (so we could link it to our website which could post daily figures straight into the books), that was what gave me the push to switch from Instant Accounts – which I have hated since day 1 but our accountant liked the fact I used it!
