Gartner has published its Hype Cycle for Software as a Service. For reasons of copyright I cannot reproduce the table but what I can say is that:
On-Demand Financial Management Applications and On-Demand Sales Force Automation are said to be at the peak. If anyone’s got the graphic so we can see how far into the future they reckon it will be before these apps hit mainstream, I’d be interested. Similarly, if anyone has details of the commentary, that would be useful as well. I’d really like to know if they’ve done any market segment analysis.
