Courtesy of Jeff Nolan, here’s a cool podcasting site aimed at the small business. Might a feed from this site be a useful addition to your practice website? Anita Campbell, who headlines the site has Selling to Small Business. OK – so there’s a lot of that American style of content that Brits find a tad difficult to swallow. But there are plenty of nuggets in there as well. For instance, Anita references Jonathan Farrington who says about sales:

84% of all buying decisions are based upon emotion – not logic

That’s worth some attention on its own methinks. But if that doesn’t do it for you then maybe having Geoffrey Moore, author of Crossing the Chasm on the next show, does pique your interest. And the great thing is the site provides multiple ways to consume the show. You need not eat into your Sunday afternoon post-blow out feet up time at all.

For me, this sort of offering provides exactly the right combination of utility and value to a simple problem. How do I find time to absorb high quality information from even a trusted source? Answer: when you choose.

UPDATE:
Apologies for this but I did get confused. Following Brent’s comment here’s the correct logo for the site. The links are correct however so don’t worry about that bit.

Hello Dennis,

Thanks for checking out our site. We definitely appreciate it. One thing I'd like to point out though is that the name of our show is Technology For Business Sake. Small Business Trends Radio is a great program that Anita Campbell heads up with Steve Rucinski that we promote on our site (and definitely worth giving a listening to) and can be found at www.smbtrendwire.com. You can find our logo at www.crm-essentials.com/images/TFBS_logo5.jpg.

Thanks again!
