Just to prove that the Internet has no boundaries, Computerwoche is running a poll as to who might succeed Henning Kagermann as CEO at SAP. The final outcome is critical to understanding the future direction of the business. That’s a vendor qualification issue as well.
Courtesy of Thomas Otter, the following lists how you can vote or view the results. When I looked, over 2,800 people had cast their vote. That tells me this is not a trivial issue. Whether these are mostly SAP insiders, customers or simply the curious is less important than the fact it is out there and significant numbers of people care enough to engage in the process. Imagine what would happen if these kinds of poll became common place? Think what that would do to corporate culture? Think what this might mean for shareholder meetings or corporate campaigns?
