Trust has many facets and PwC execute their duties at the Oscars with aplomb. The fact a 30-second ad slot can cost $1.6 million has, of course, nothing to do with it. But then it does give one a sense of pride to know that being a CA (or in this case CPA) carries weight in some circles.
It’s also good to see that Brad Oltmanns, one of the two PwC folk involved, retains a sense of humour about his involvement on Oscars night:
“It’s the easiest sartorial decision I make all year; there’s only one choice,” he says, before deadpanning: “I’m trying to be mistaken for Beau Brummell.”
Priceless.
