Wall Street 2.0

in Humour

Mike Arrington speculates about the plot for a revista of the eponymous movie Wall Street. Mike says Patent Trolling came to his mind.

I’m thinking more along the lines of Enron but with a sprinkling of tax evasion thrown in. Speaking of which, this plot line from the often hilarious Russ Fox could make in interesting addition:

In February, Steven Green pleaded guilty to not filing tax returns from 2001 to 2003 and to using a fake social security number when applying for a loan. He was sentenced to 2 years and nine months in prison, with the sentence to commence in June.

…last night Mr. Green was walking out of Club Posh in midtown Manhattan when he was hit by a hit and run driver. His attorney, Louis Cherico, told the Associated Press that the prognosis for recovery is good (he had surgery earlier today).

Hopefully, the NYPD will catch what the New York Daily News calls “the cowardly driver.”

And while on the topic of humour, earlier today, Thomas Otter thinks this from Moonflakes is funny. The postscript caught my attention:

Noam Chomsky, profiled by Paris Hilton

Thomas thought it might be interesting if the roles were reversed. Personally I think Paris would make a great love interest for Gekko. No acting required.
