Web 2.0 marketing and pink shirts

Oh how I hate that Web 2.0 icky expression – especially when it’s applied to the wrong stuff.

I reference Lucie Benson for the Web 2.0 thing and Richard Murphy on pink shirts

PS – More push, push, blah, blah – this time from PracticeWeb…moving swiftly on.

I already commented on the ridiculous Lucie Benson article over on AccountingWEB before I listened to this. Of course we agree. I think putting that kind of article under a headline of "Catching the Web 2.0 wave" is both misrepresentation and counterproductive. I hope John Stokdyk is watching the dialogue. AW needs to do a lot more on promoting web 2.0 properly, as well as providing a better understanding of the marketing topic - so many of the practitioners need it, which is why the likes of 2020 Group seem to do so well, without anything ground breaking to say.
