The value of virtual worlds

If you’re a knowledge worker (and all professionals are) then virtual worlds can be a great place to reach out to others, share, learn, discover and socialise. IBMs Roo Reynolds provides a run through of the different online ‘worlds’ that he occupies, explaining why they are important to the world of work. The presentation takes just under 30 minutes. Not a single bullet pointed Powerpoint slide to be seen (yay.)

Bonus points: Roo shows a page from this site and one from Luis Suarez where each of us gives different reasons why banning Facebook is wrong.
