While in Paris I met with JP Rangaswami. He’s managing director BT Design and has an army of 4,000 staff. JP is one of my Web/Enterprise 2.0 (yuk hate the term) heroes. He’s truly an original thinker. We’d never met yet he sought me out. Weird. He also paid me a tremendous compliment when introducing me to his senior team who also attended the event.

We talked about organization, managing knowledge teams, managing by consensus, research and change management. All in the context of the new world of technology which we’re discovering. Check this mind blowing post about innovation in the enterprise space. More important, check the conversation around it.

During our conversation, JP told me he has a clutch of accountants who ‘get’ the new collaborative and participatory stuff folk like myself are banging on about. He’s said I can get access to these people and obtain their perspectives. That’s incredibly generous. And something to look forward to in the New Year.

Interesting aside – JP has a blogging clause written into his terms of employment. How cool is that?

Arghh, sorry. A friend who's heavily involved in Tiddlywiki development with Osmosoft mentioned there were a number of London-based PwCers who were quite into TW and social-networking software. There aren't any of them on the TW Facebook group although there are a few on the Wiki Wednesdays group.

Thanks - I'll raise that.

I think the people he's referring to are the PwC guys at the TiddlyWiki Facebook group.
