Why the profession needs to change

This from a support question on GetSatisfaction that started as My accountant won’t support FreeAgent:

sorry, but I gotta pass comment on this. albeit not constructive by any means ….. it sounds like you are working for your accountants and not the other way around!! Who’s the client?!? I would tell them that that is the format that they will receive the accounting info!

I’ve said on many occasions in the past that sooner or later clients will start asking serious questions about their professional advisors. This is the start. BTW – I do think this is a constructive question.
