These are my links for January 10th through January 12th:
- Shooting the breeze with Euan – He was shooting but Euan struggles to get a word in edgeways. Neville – shut up occasionally!
- XBRL: boon or bust? – asking questions about the use of XBRL
- what to do when you make a mistake at work – The tips seem fairly obvious until you realise that most people don’t do what is recommended
- Who Owns My Data – The cartoon says it all (not work safe)
- Sir John Harvey Jones on FDs – Sir John has passed away. As Damien Wild points out: There was more reality in one episode of Troubleshooter than exists in a dozen editions of The Apprentice. Damien’s sympathetic piece is well worth the reading
- Jeff Wooller’s dodgy university – ICAEW arch critic Jeff Wooller looks to be in the poo with this one.
- Is ThinkFree ReThinking Its Business? – TechCrunch believes that ThinkFree’s owners are readying to shutter the service. Pity. It’s a good service but just hasn’t been able to get the traction needed.
- Michelle Gets Poked With Needles – Not everyone is up to speed on Web 2.0 but then we are talking about an ancient skill here
- Newsgator: It’s the Attention, Stupid – Excellent article about Newsgator and its RSS products
- Accountants and the State – The Big Four are eviscerated – as you might expect – in this excellent piece
