As of yesterday I have a gig at ITPro blogging about governance, risk and compliance. The opening post is a tad lame as it’s really a ‘here I am, this is what I’m going to be talking about’ kinda thing that points to a few things I think are illustrative of where this can go. As with most commercial sites, ITPro makes you jump over an attention paywall but you don’t have to fill in all the pages. You only have to complete one more field than when commenting here so it’s not that bad.
The blog is really aimed at enterprisey people but it will have a strong business flavour so shouldn’t be too indigestible to non technical types. I’m going to have fun doing this but I also plan to introduce topics around audit because I believe there’s a significant role to be played in making GRC a meaningful concept.
I’ve also joined the editorial team at SAP’s CSR wiki. This is a very early stage project but with a passionate team. I’ll blog there as well from time to time. Earlier today I talked about how SAP might look at developing CSR related products and services in the context of tough questions. I used the FT article as an example.
I’m hoping I will be able to announce another couple of gigs shortly but these depend on signing off on details and dealing with an NDA.
