No kidding. That's why I use Basecamp and Backpack from 37 Signals to more or less replicate what I think Google Sites is trying to do. Not that I love 37S all that much and especially their (ahem) enthusiastic pricing strategies. (I'm migrating away from them). But at least 37S understands people like me: I don't want to be a plumber; I just want to get a drink of water. Something that works > something that's free. No kidding.
