I did manage to get in fine. Then a nice lady from the ICAEW emailed to ask me for my membership number since they couldn’t find me on their system with the email that I had used. This despite my using the same email address listed in my member profile..

hi chaps – didn't say I did not like it – actually it is nice and soft on the eye. But grey for grey suits is what stands out for me!

I use the main site once a year to pay my subs – otherwise I gave up on it years ago.

@Ali – it's funny you should say that…without giving too much away (because I'm bound by certain confidentiality matters), it's fair to say the people who need to know about this at Moorgate Place are keenly aware of the issues and much thought is going into how this can be properly resolved. I can say that it is not a trivial issue because under the covers there are a lot of important 'moving parts.'

However, it sparks another thought. If the communities take off as we all hope then the contrast will serve as an impetus to do 'other things.' That's goodness and something ICAEW will keep under review with the help of the external consultants.

It’s just great that we can talk about this project now….

@Ali – we looked at the existing site and tried hard to get the usability and navigation as easy as possible for the IT Counts site.

@Alistair – the main red colour was prescribed by the ICAEW logo and brand guidelines, and we really liked matching in the silver/greys – but they really like it, which is what counts.
