ICAEW IT Counts update

ICAEW’s IT Counts community has been running a month and so far, so good. For those that don’t know, IT Counts is a group community within the overall ICAEW ‘ion’ site where we talk about topics that are broadly grouped as office, future, value and security.

I don’t have a current invitation count but last time I looked, it was running at around 75,000. Assuming that number is reasonably accurate, some four per cent have logged in. That might seem low to some people but in fact represents a good take up given that very little marketing has been done and that ion represents an entirely new direction for the Institute.

More stats: There have been a total of 282 posts and 349 comments. Again, that’s credible, especially for an organisation that I have characterised as being mired in the past.

ion remains private for the time being but I have a sneaking feeling it will open up in the not too distant future.
