XBRL to be manadated?

It is looking increasingly likely that XBRL will be mandated for all large cap US SEC filers. XBRL US is hosting two 30 minute online seminars on 16th and 17th April covering the topic.

While this may have little apparent relevance for a UK audience, I believe it is well worth setting aside a little time to discover what’s going on in the US. It won’t be long before XBRL becomes part of the UK’s reporting landscape.
