Comment moderation

I have no idea why but Akismet has not been as good at catching comment spam and undesirable trackbacks etc as it usually is on my site. As I am taking a break (this week) but have a couple of posts in the hopper, I’m turning comment moderation on. No-one wants a ton of crap staring them in the face and I sure as heck don’t want to have to clean up the mess later on. Apologies if this inconveniences anyone but I want to keep this site clean.

I have found using Spam Karma and akismet together works best - It only needs a tiny glitch in either for the spam to come pouring in :-(
