I'm feeling it is more and more legitimate to trigger a discussion with a short post (which is what tweeters often do) and stand back and reap the benefits of the responses. Sending out a link to such a trigger isn't pimping but rather catalyzing useful evolution. I'll need to explore aggregating tools that help me understand responses (perhaps pooled from multiple triggers that make sense to my context). Imagine the power of being able to mine responses to a question that recurs in multiple environments. That would be really useful. Not just the genealogy or responses to one tweet or one blog content. Like being able to listen in to multiple conversations that have pieces that interest you. If the experience is up in the flow, versus down in the end points. then enterprises wouldn't be forced to retrofit/migrate all their intranets, portals and other collaborative tools for mobile devices. Instead, they could focus on feeding and mixing content from legacy web pages and such.. Or not. Just a thought.
