To further your argument, I think that SWOT is part of the problem. This is tool has been around since we were in caves and about to hunt water buffalo.

The problem is that is tells you nothing about the &quot;why&quot; of the situation. Presumably, this will come post-SWOT, but I have seen too many firms think that once the do a SWOT their strategic thinking is done.

It is time to move on from this archaic tool. At VeraSage we have written extensively about the after-action review (AAR). This is the tool of the 21st century!</description>
