Merchant’s Mirror: another saas accounting product

via Robert Scoble – this video talks about many of the benefits of running a saas accounting solution. The first 5-10 minutes are the best. Merchant’s Mirror has been in the works for the last 2-3 years. They’re saying it will include payroll by Q1, 2009. I’m looking forward to seeing how it differentiates on look and feel and usability. They’re also talking about an offline client by the end of 2009. I like they are coming out the gate with an API so that it can hook to services like Salesforce.com and Sliderocket so that users can rethink what accounting means. That’s the kind of thinking I like.
