What happened in this is just mind boggling. If investors hadn't lost 30 Billionj dollars, it could be called a "comedy of errors" but this is no laughing matter. Sheila Bair was wrong when she said this would not cost taxpayers a dime. about 268 Billion dollars in losses is going to be written off on taxes....so who pays the bill when all those write offs occur? You guessed it....John Q. Taxpayer. This is an outrage. There are so many things surrounding this that implicate improper action on the part of others involved, there needs to be a full blown investigation. Get the facts about all the events surrounding the seizure of Washington Mutual Bank ( now delisted on the NYSE, and listed as an OTC stock as WAMUQ) at <a href="http://www.wamued.org" rel="nofollow">www.wamued.org</a> I guarantee, when you read about it, you will want to sign the petition. You will want answers from an Objective Investigation as much as the stockholders of Washington Mutual do.
