Best of 2008 on AccountingWEB

Despite the bit of occasional rough and tumble over at AccountingWEB, we’ve settled into a way of rubbing along. That’s nice. So it was with some surprise that the Blogging Accountants debate from last April was voted as ‘Best Debate’ by AWeb’s readers over the December period.

I’m not really into awards thingies, and given the Satyam debacle that’s probably just as well. However it is gratifying to see that a topic of such ‘age’ has suvived the test of time. Interestingly, the topic is not the highest read piece on AWeb. I guess it must have been seen as the most thought provoking.

It is your site and you are free to decide off course. But I think you are close to the only site with a feed only providing a summary of blog posts. If you are concerned about loss of advertising revenue have a look at AdSense for feeds. Just letting you know because I think you are missing out on a lot of subscribers by only providing a summary feed.

errr...no. My site, my rules, my attention. If you don't like then don't subscribe.

Please provide a feed with the full post. Summary feeds are often unsubscribed quickly.
