Le Beast predicts arrest in £1 a bottle tax protest

This is NOT a pre-April 1st joke and is only very slightly aligned to this blog’s content but hey. I’d love to be in London to see this.

Le Beast aka Loren Feldman will be in London tomorrow protesting at the UK taxes slapped on wine.  Here’s the thought stream that passed between us on Twitter:

Knowing how mouthy Loren can be, I wonder whether he’ll get arrested. On the other hand, while Le Beast might get a good reception at No.10 (if they let him in, rumour has it they WILL) I suspect the anti-binge drinking campaigners might pose more of a threat.

Personally, I’d like to see Le Beast among the anticipated G20 protesters.
