		<description>My prediction is that Wave&#039;s success will depend on the degree to which Google is willing to relinquish control of the application.

If Google truly treats it as a platform, and allows third parties to take control, it could be revolutionary.

If Google tries to have its cake and eat it to, the open source approach would be revealed as posturing, and Wave will end up a failure, much like 95% of Google&#039;s other initiatives.

Especially for the enterprise, Google needs third parties to provide support and services, since Google certainly isn&#039;t going to do so.</description>
