They owed Sage 1.6M GBP. I believe Sage had a debenture but fell out with BDE s financier - Clydesdale Bank and terminated the Reseller Agreement, wrote to all their customers telling them BDE was no longer a partner and allocated the customers to other resellers. The great irony is that I sold Apex Business Systems UK to BDE 5years ago with 1M GBP in the bank, and they still owe money to some of the employee shareholders of Apex. It could well be likely that a similar event ie termination of reseller agreement for non payment occurred at MIS. On balance this is probably the reason they have simply shut the doors.
