I can reliably measure my own Carbon production, based on power consumption and source of that power. Can Amazon (AWS) or Google (Docs or gmail) tell me what my share of their Carbon Production was ? Depending on the proportion of my IT workload that goes throught the cloud, this could be an important metric of my 'greenness'. Certainly, I would consider that it should be included in any calculations that determine whether a company has under used or over used their carbon credits.
