Unexpected service announcement

Earlier yesterday AccMan experienced a major outage for some 4-5 hours. The reasons behind the outage are too technical to discuss except to say the service provider had no real explanation other than to blame it on the WordPress implementation.  We won’t go there given AccMan didn’t make any site specific changes that might impact performance. So what are we going to do?? Right now AccMan is considering its ISP options and working out the best way to proceed such that visitors continue to enjoy a quality experience. It’s part of the SaasS/Paas/Iaas…assS issue that growing sites have to bother consider and accommodate. Apologies to those that think they missed essential news. It is the first serious outage we’ve experienced in 4+years. We’re working on a plan to ensure this doesn’t happen again. I thank you for your patience in this issue.
