Next stop: Cloud Computing World Forum

The conference season should be over by now but it isn’t. At least not for me. Next stop is London and the Cloud Computing World Forum being held at Olympia. I arrive Monday afternoon and will be there through Thursday. It’s going to be a pretty hectic time with filming, panel sessions to both chair and participate alongside a string of meeting requests.

I’m looking forward to all the events in which I am involvedas well as catching sessions where I am a spectator. There are some terrific speakers from some of the largest (British Airways – does that grab you?) and not so large businesses engaged in cloud computing as well as government representatives. Alongside the vendor pitches, there are some good case study examples. Having run a webinar where the guest was Telegraph Media Group, it will be good to meet the man behind the voice.

If you see me staggering around with a backpack full of gear then please say ‘Hello.’ If I look as though I’m in a hurry and unable to stop, don’t be offended – I’ll probably be on the run somewhere. If I look like I’m pointing my video camera at you – feel free to interact.

These events are always a great time to catch up with friends old and new and this will be no exception. Richard Messik and David Terrar for example both have events to wrangle.

Before arriving at the event I have an appointment at a secret location to make a special video. It will be fun. It will likely be posted Monday evening.
