It is becoming increasingly obvious that clouding computing benefits as they apply to the accounting arena stretch way beyond the ability to save time, effort and cost. As I meet with more customers, I am discovering benefits that only customers can express.
In the above video, Gary White, CEO of White Springs, a sales enablement company that operates its own cloud model, explains how his company has not only made significant time and cost savings on monthly reporting, but has also been able to get accurate information based upon the need for operating strict revenue recognition rules. This might seem like a minor point to some, but having confidence that your numbers are providing a consistently accurate picture is a key requirement for decision makers. That extends beyond finance to include sales and C-suite people.
