If you need a glimpse of tomorrow’s trusted media then it’s worthwhile checking out Zoli Erdos, Jeff Nolan, Vinnie Marchandani, Ross Mayfield and Sadagopan reporting of Software 2006. These are all extremely smart people who try and figure out some of the toughest questions faced by technology decision makers. Their thoughts, both individually and collectively count. They are practitioners as well. So you might like to think of them as your remote trusted advisors where you can collect any or all opinions.
Their respective thinking about Software 2006 is up and beyond the excellent factual reporting you might expect to read at ZDNet. I’d be surprised if you don’t find their individual take on the event challenging and interesting.
Another good reason to be involved with conversations covering issues of importance to your ecosystem?
Update: Dan Farber is in on the action with interesting details from Ray Lane’s speech. Charles Zedlewski talks about the experience as another learning experience and it’s made the event has made it to tech.memeorandum. Which is great because now the kinds of discussion that impact business and not just the consumer will start to get aired.
Update 2: Will Price has interesting takeaways from some of the sessions I’ve not seen reported elsewhere.
